Popsical to Offer Free Online Karaoke Sessions during COVID-19 Circuit Breaker
SINGAPORE, 27 APRIL 2020 – They say there’s a song for every season. How about for one of the most trying periods the world has ever seen? Local start-up Popsical has stepped up to offer free karaoke sessions for all based in Singapore over video-conferencing channel ZOOM during the extended circuit breaker period.
“Challenging times like these call for all hands on deck. We want to give back in a way we know best – spreading good cheer and connecting Singaporeans over a good old karaoke session”, explained CEO and Co-Founder Faruq Marican.
In what it calls the “first public Karaoke on Zoom series,” Popsical will be offering access to its award-winning software and original music video content with a series of 45 minutes lunchtime karaoke sessions on ZOOM that are open to the public. Karaoke enthusiasts who miss their regular KTV sessions can get to enjoy popular hits from its library of over 200,000 songs in 14 languages and even request their favorite songs during these sessions. To join, you will need to have access to Zoom and log onto the Zoom channel: https://zoom.us/j/6513680357. No prior registration is required.
Here are the first few sessions you can join:
28 April 2020, Tuesday, 12:30 pm, “Songs to cope with COVID-19.”
30 April, Thursday, 12:30 pm, “Top English Hits.”
1 May, Friday, 12:30 pm, “Top Mandarin Hits.”
3 May, Sunday, 12:30 pm, “Kids’ Special!”
